Regional dimension of socio-cultural modernization of the population: results of expeditionary research in Uzbekistan and southern Kyrgyzstan

The article attempts a regional measurement of the socio-cultural modernization population based on field observations and results in-depth interviews with local in Uzbekistan southern Kyrgyzstan. Expedition research route: Osh — Kokand Tashkent Samarkand Bukhara. For modernization, following groups indicators were used: “characteristics cultural landscape” (for example, layout settlements, home space arrangement, land use, etc.) “social portrait residents” clothing, food preferences, behavior space, time budget attitudes population).
